What are plant medicines?

Plant medicines are a wonderful tool for physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Depending on the type of plant medicine they are usually ingested.

Plant medicines are traditionally used in a ceremonial setting with a trained facilitator guiding the journey. It is important that you are supported by a professional in a ceremony as you are healing at an energetic level. My experience with plant medicines changed my life. Before I was suffering with depression, anxiety and loss of purpose. However, I refused to go on antidepressants and I thought there must be another way. Plant medicines serendipitously found me and my first experience began with the Yawanawa tribe of Brazil. I have personally received profound healing with ceremonial cacao (raw chocolate).

I am now a shamanicly trained cacaoista. I underwent an intensive cacao training with an experienced shaman whereby I was initiated into ‘la medicina’. This included daily micro-dosing of the medicine along with sitting in many ceremonies myself plus extensive classes and tools training. Mama cacao gifted me with an icaro. She came through to me during the training and this is a ‘magic song’ that I use to activate the spirit of mama cacao when I serve the medicine for my clients. It is this activation in the medicine which gives the maximum impact in terms of results for my clients.

*** Please note ***: there is a very big difference in the depth of healing during the journey with a shamanicly trained facilitator who is initiated into the spirit of mama cacao. Technically, anyone can drink and serve cacao but the healing benefits and experience are *not* the same and the result will not be as rewarding. There are facilitators charging the same price (or more) for a ceremony who are not initiated – please take this into consideration when selecting your practitioner.

What is cacao?

Cacao first and foremost is a superfood from the Amazon. Superfoods are just that – foods that contain significantly higher quantities of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and other health-boosting, anti-ageing, disease-fighting goodies. Raw cacao is different from the common “Cocoa”.

Facts:

1.  40 Times the Antioxidants of Blueberries

2.  Highest Plant-Based Source of Iron

3.  Full of Magnesium for a Healthy Heart & Brain

4.  More Calcium Than Cow’s Milk

5.  A Natural Mood Elevator and Anti-Depressant

In my ceremonies I only use top grade ceremonial grade cacao (you can go to my shop to buy or message me on instagram to order). Ceremonial grade is processed differently to cacao you buy in a supermarket. It  is specifically produced from native cacao strains. Unlike chocolate, ceremonial grade cacao does not contain sugar, milk, preservatives, or anything else that might interfere with or negate the benefits of pure cacao.

Cacao is heart-opening, enables greater connection and emotional well-being, enhanced focus, and expanded states of consciousness. When consumed in a ceremonial quantity and in the right setting, cacao is a powerful catalyst for all types of inner work.
